One Last Total War?

Even though I really want Oad, I concur that it would be nice to see the Sulkaris ark completed so that the total war players aren't left in the lurch with a cliffhanger.

I, personally, would like to see HD models for the remaining factions, and also the end of the Sulkaris arc which is only three more missions (And the Skies Cried Out, Manifesto Sulkaris and Rise of the Fallen) at which point you will be able to go straight to Conquest with a fresh start for the missions and not at the end of an arc.

On that reguard, is any one planning on Updating the Hyrule Historia Missions? If not. I say don't Bother finishing the Hyrule Historia for HTW.

I think you should Finish the Final Faction's HD updates. And delay on the Hyrule Historia. And after a while You can finish the Hyrule Hystoria. But work on Hyrule Conquest between each Mission. At least to some extent. this way. You can still finish HTW. While still getting time for your Breathers with HC. Until you consider HTW final version done. I think this is the best course of action.

Personally I'd like to see all the factions done, but if the story can be told in Conquest, then just do them in conquest.

Personally I would really like to see HTW somewhat completed. I was never really into the story quests and i would argue they'd be better executed in Hyrule Conquest, but to see the twili, ikana's (ikanians ?) and the river zora see the same treatment of the other factions would be really good. I can understand why you'd want to abandon HTW, but us total war fans would likely never see a completed version of HTW if you continue with Hyrule conquest. Better to finish it off and get it over with now rather than after you've finished, or atleast a good portion completed HC. Maybe the straw poll should include an option for HTW factions/story only?

First and foremost, don't do anything you don't enjoy. That's when this passion project becomes a job. Sure, you're making 925 a month by my count, but if you truly want to go in a certain direction, then go in it. It seems to me like you already have an idea you want to go with, so I'd go with that. But if you are looking for my personal opinion, my only concern is that it will be limiting the game map and discarding a lot of the more minute details if you switch to a real-time-only strategy game. If there was a campaign map that *then* got into a real time map, similar to how the old Rise of Nations did it, then that would work in my book. Edit: Just checked your recent video on it, and seems that there is a 'campaign' mode so if that's what that is that makes sense. Other things I'mjust wanting to make sure are in the game are diplomacy (either in the 'campaign' or in 'free for all' matches if I want to play a shorter game), and if I can play a campaign map with multiplayer - my brother and I quite enjoy hotseat on Total War with the mod.

Personally, I prefer RTS to RTT style games (particularly in multiplayer). 0AD is a good open source project and I am quite happy to see you supporting it by making such a comprehensive mod.

I'd really like a final version of Total War please. I prefer the total war style games, and would like the faction overhauls finished for it please.

Considering there's 2 or 3 more arcs remaining in the story chronology Fernado, Neph's very likely not going to start the next arc in Total War. It's more likely the Sulkaris arc he's speaking of finishing the missions of. There's 2 more missions left in the arc alongside the faction overhauls and after that, he's likely to just ditch Total War after that's done.
