It was Fun in the Sun! But all good things must come to an end. The summer festivities conclude this week but given the colossal response from our fans and backers we've decided to closeout with something a little special!

Enemies of Brightwater Beware! Stepping out from the mists of time is the Eternal Champion himself. Sporting tasteful red swim trunks with brilliant orichalcum embroidery (and not much else), this living legend strides calmly down the sun-swept beaches of Cozy Cove.

Originally produced as a part of ARTSTREETs Monthly Illustration Contest for the month of July, this piece is our first official glimpse of the Summer King and a hint of the greater powers and mysteries awaiting within this exciting new Shonen series!

“Drawing strong men is my favorite thing to do; it’s why my boss hired me in the first place. When I was told to make older Arrowyn for the beach contest I was ecstatic and went all out on his body. My boss told me to make adjustments to his body because it ended up looking too much like a “ken doll” hence why he appears to be more “anatomically correct” in his chest. I accidentally made the water look like a painting when trying to give it a more realistic aesthetic as well as filling the area and making it look more alive. I just really like drawing pretty boys.”
