To the esteemed justices and the genetic donor for Tucker's stepdaughter, I present the case of the Sleighted Symbol, may it please the court. My party was travelling in a drow city in the underdark. One of the players, a drow prince, is in hiding because he was wanted in his own city for reasons unknown to the players. However, given that they possess no magical means of disguise, the prince's facepaint was seen though and the party was aprehended as they passed the noble district. The first thing that happened was the triggering of the Symbol spell. Judges, here is my crime. I originally stated that the drow mage who had discovered them used the Sleep function of the spell, when two of my party members (the prince included) reminded me that they were immune to sleep, being a drow and eladrin. I, in my stupidity, had completely forgotten this. However, the caster was a drow himself and, given his own immunity, should've known that his target was immune as well. I rolled an intelligence check for the wizard and rolled high, so I changed the symbol spell to pain, but my players seemed kind of disappointed. Judges, was I wrong to correct my own mistake when a character I am playing is smarter than I am?

My "original" world of Shadeloch? Yeah, it’s got sibling gods just like Eldermourne. But don’t worry—I decided to plagiarize Dragon Age: Origins too, to feel a little less guilty about copying NADDPOD. Now I’ve got a mashup of ideas that are barely mine but somehow still work. Please forgive me. Murph, can you check it out? I swear it’s sort of original!
