2022-09-29 23:47:49 +0000 UTCWhenever Emily casually mentions the hate she gets for playing well I'm like "defending Emily online isn't enough I need a sword". It's the fucking hypocrisy of it all - if Emily is doing well, they complain that her build is broken or that she is cheating and if she plays suboptimal they say that she isn't pulling her weight/dragging the rest of the party down. As a DM I'm always happy when my players do insane builds and get super powerful because that means I get to use stronger monsters and more difficult encounters, so I really don't see the point why taking a feat that suits your needs (mounted combatant for Callie and mobile for Sol) is a bad thing. Murph is a great DM so he would still make them work for it.
