Anyone else notice at 34:30, Caldwell brings up how many monsters try to swallow the PCs in campaign one and asks Murph what that’s about, but Emily cuts him off to change the topic. Seems like Ol Hugh Caldwell may have been getting a little too close to the truth.

I have recently became a Monster gremlin, and for diabetes reasons I'm a diet/zero sugar drink kinda person. (Why waste insulin on a drink, yknow? This way I can have a Monster AND some cake for the same amount of carbs, I digress.) One of my college rugby friends was in Supersized Me as one of the kids interviewed. I think it was traumatic for her. A couple years ago she got that stomach shrinking surgery and lost a lot of weight. She's a wonderful person and was beautiful before and after the surgery and I wonder how much her choice was influenced by that film.

I just discovered the blue low-carb monster energy drink and it is for sure not as fun but for only 30 calories and 6 grams of sugar it's pretty dang good. If u haven't had a regular monster for a while it hits the same spot almost. Yum yum, monster energy.

So Emily, I think your best options are the Monster Rehabs and Monster Javas (if only because those are the ones my stomach can tolerate) for getting Monster drinks. On another related note, this episode inspired me to check the Jalapenos drink menu and they seem to offer a Monster Margarita not a Red Bull Margarita now

Lol I recently did something similar to the Monster tasting. A buddy of mine was infatuated with “Whiskey Dew” (just mountain dew mixed with whiskey), so we accumulated as many different flavors of Dew as we could find (I think we got 11). Then built flights, named each concoction, tasted, and ranked. Hope the monster taste test becomes a thing.
