Lightning often strikes water, and water conducts electricity. That means that the currents from a lightning strike can seriously injure you. Or straight up just kill you. Assuming your in an outside pool of course. Inside pools are perfectly safe. Source used to manage a pool/pool side grill/bar. If you heard thunder you were to have everyone leave the pool for one hour and every time you heard it again the timer reset. I once had a lady argue with me that it was fine and she would gladly sign something saying she'd take responsibility if something happened. Lady I'm just trying not to have a bunch dead kids in my pool jeez.

However, there are some elements of the book that show the harsh realities of a war and violence that can be kinda intense (I know it was for me). Anyway, I still really enjoyed it. Hope that helps!

So on the topic of THE DICE! My first dice also roles extremely well and it was in fact the one that came with the dnd starter kit. I have done the salt water test on it and it is in fact weighted to 20! I’d like to see if anyone else has tested theirs and came to the same conclusion! You can’t cast a leveled spell with your action AND bonus action on a turn. That’s why Moonshine/Zirk typically do cantrip or weapon attack for their action if they use a spell with their bonus action.

On the topic of employing real life physics at the dnd table: in college I joined a pathfinder game with a bunch of engineering students. The DM, also an engineer student, had to ban real life physics from the table because the players would use it to break the game, designing siege weaponry in tandem with first edition pathfinder RAW to destroy entire cities in three rounds or less. And that's without applying physics to pathfinder spells.

I had a DM start calculating how fast I'd fall using Newtonian physics. After 8 minutes of complete silence of him calculating everything I remembered I had Feather Fall so I cast it. I didn't stay in that game long.
