This episode honestly had some really good examples of d&d. The market segment was probably my favorite. Small detail I liked but I thought it was really clever to just have the market yelling out what they were selling to just let the players know. Functionally, it felt like a videogame shopping area with also this fun flavor of some of the shops being poorer quality. Really good dming Zirk sussing out the shady vs quality shops was an interesting and fitting player action. Also I really liked Murph giving his players a newspaper. An effective way of establishing threads of information to have on the back burners of their mind as you quest forward Sorry if this comment is messy, more than anything I just appreciate your guys back and forth, the solid communication between everyone is something to appreciate.

I love how mind flayers and spectators are sometimes the pinnacle of a campaign because of their rich lore but in Eldermourne they’re just something that the deep folk have to deal with as they’re racing down a river nbd. Absolutely love the pacing of the storytelling of this campaign. Keep it up y’all!!

Vomit berry was crazy, but Caldwell was in peak form tonight. The first action of the episode was Zirk licking fire and passing out. In the first four minutes Zirk was knocked out. Then came the entire ‘target practice’ thing. Erlin’s sword was foolish, but there was logic there, there was emotion there...the first 30 minutes of the latest episode is nonstop bananas because Zirk is an incredibly silly person.

The vomit berry was way more insane lmao besides some light razzing, the Deepfolk never gave off a shady vibe. I think the most insane Caldwell call was taking Erlin's Plague sword back to Gladeholm.

Which Caldwell choice was more insane - trying to goof a god or going out alone in an unknown city for target practice and then following a group of ruffians into a dark cave. (Keep in mind Zirk could have rested first for four hours then gone out)
