Comments

This may be wrong, but I wonder if Murph's"you are whelmed" (no idea if that is spelt right) was a Young justice reference? Was a running joke in the show! If no-one but me gets this reference that's fine! Lol but go watch that show, pretty good I think at least. Anyway.....

Lee Blatchford

Also they started doing short rests at like episode 14 so they don't have any earlier than that.

Becca_rebaker

Shout out to Jake’s subtle Ben Folds reference during the PO shout outs, I see you.

Erin Elizabeth

this is the way. and to find the rss link, go to the creator's page, click my membership on their page, and scroll down, it should be right there.

zach orion miller

Can we please say that wasn’t just flavor and Balnor is canon in Eldermourne? I’ll cashapp every member of this podcast $20 personally.

Cameron Davis

Just put your custom rss link into your podcast reader. The short rests will then appear next to the normal ad free episodes.

I believe that you can only listen to the short rests on Patreon, but you can organize the short rest and regular eps from last to first so you can access the earlier ones. Hopefully, this helps

I’m really enjoying that the NADDPOD crew are low key members of the bills mafia #billsby40

Man I feel like such a noob. I've now listened to the first few episodes and now I'm understanding a lot more stuff but has anyone got any tips on how to access the short rests. I'm listening to the earlier episodes on Google Podcasts atm but a little research has not revealed how to link up the patreon account with any apps to access the paid content. I feel my investigation roll has shouted out firmly to the 2 crew.

Perfection! Shout out to #2 Dad! Balnor!!!!!

Michael Lawton

oh goodness I’m so happy I’m crying. What a great episode!!

SPONGEBOB ONE SHOT PLEASE

Jack

Why not octovar? It was right there lol

Zac

Luigi gave em a bag of holding!

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

Everything pales in comparison to Emily's characters and roleplay. I love you all at the nadpod but there's a reason why Murph married her and not Jake or Caldwell 🤣

D'ran Dana

Octvar!

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

I enjoy that someone sent Caldwell a Critical Role baby onesie haha

Emily C

Every time Murph says water in this episode I hear ‘War-Dur’ 😆

Rafi Ronquillo

BALNOR!!!!

Molly Gould

This was a rosebush of an episode! Balnor references made me laugh and smile so wide, and hearing the theme play in the episode is hype as hell. All the music was really on point this episode, in fact. And I'm so proud of Jake for mastering my stupid accidental tongue twister name!

Evan Cordero

I need the short rest asap😩

Andrew Stallworth

The razzing at the top of each episode is so much fun!!!!

David Heintz

I had smiliar trouble. If you use Spotify to look up the title of the episode it makes it easier to look up the title on patreon. 😊

Arwyn Robinson

Baggin it with Balnor season 2 confirmed!?

K

Ah thanks for the reply. I'm trying to find a decent platform to listen to the campaign but on patreon I have to scroll through everything as the search doesn't seem to work. I definitely need to listen though, sounds great when they bring it up!

Woah! So weird that you don't know campaign 1 inside jokes! Okay so in their last campaign they had an npc in their party named Balnor, who was played by Murph. He was a halfling and your stereotype dad figure with the beer belly who drank "bud heavies" and loved tuna sandwiches with mayo. He also carried their bag of holding and protected it fiercely and was dearly loved by the party (and fans). Balnor's backstory was fucking incredible and I cried like a little bitch when the campaign ended and he said goodbye. 😭😭😭 I strongly encourage you to go back and listen to the Bahumia campaign. I also started listening to the podcast halfway through. It is admittedly weird to go back and listen to the show when it first started because they are still figuring out their rhythm and the various gimmicks like the shout out to the 2 crew, the intros, stuff like that, but it's also fun to hear how the show developed into what it is today. You can also listen to Jake being a total noob and learning how to play D&D for the first time which is really fun. Helps bring perspective (especially if you DM) that reminds you what it's like to be a new player. Also the first episode... Get past the ten minutes of dragon pussy and it's great. 😂😂😂 Edit: I just listened to the short rest for this episode where they specifically call out the people who don't like the dragon pussy jokes. 🙈🙈🙈

Arwyn Robinson

What's the back story behind the joy of the bag of holding? Felt like I've missed something. Sorry, relatively new listener. Only listened to this and the last campaign. Both are frickin 👏👏👏

There was a short rest where they went off on tangent about lord of the rings. Trust me when I say that hearing "Arwen's pussy" was never something I expected to hear on a podcast. Weird moment. 😂😂😂

My thoughts for this episode: Emily opening with Zirk being Stella's son was fucking brilliant. 🤯. I also love Caldwell's unadulterated joy at rolling a nat 20 for the fairy test. We need to get #BookvarTheBrave trending asap. Also Murph as Bookvar is great, but Murph as Shank is the fucking best. 😂😂😂 Also, Emily the music for the underwater temple exploration is incredible. *chefs kiss*

Arwyn Robinson

Seconded.

You sent the spellcard binders correct? If so, we received them and they are INCREDIBLE!! I cannot wait to bust mine out at a live show. Thank you so much! ~Caldwell

Not Another D&D Podcast

I want elf eared John Mulaney to ply zirk in the eldermorne live action

Debra Wasson

Absolutely CRYING laughing at “I’m off to another world now!”

Joshua Qualls

What a thick sode! Can I just say I love the visuals the two crew come up w? Doc Ock gunslinger is so cool, & Emily's Fiaisms are creepily adorable.

tacticalgrandma

100% a self serving question, so I apologize in advance! How far behind on PO box shout-outs are y'all? Sent a couple of packages a month or so ago, and just want to make sure you got them! I know things probably got crazy over in the Tanner household there for a bit :) Thanks for the episode!!

Lizzie Tredinnick

Yoooo my name is Moorea (idk how the fairy's name is spelt) and I have NEVER heard my name in media before I frickin love being a fairy of teensy sea creatures

Murph dropping MORE Buffalo hints in this episode with that tight spiral of a reference. ...don’t come until the border is back open! 😉

Brandon Wiens

BALNOR BALNOR BALNOR

BrethrenBlev

The singing tuna fish should be in the bag of holding.

Jonathan Yarberough

So when are we getting the "I am a smapphire" shirt?

Vashguard

Oh my God, the return of the bag holder!!

Flonc

Balnorverse confirmed!

Emily

Kenly gave it to them in case of emergencies

Thwack that gash!!!

Emily

Anyone remember where did they get the horn of the deep?

Gearoid Cotter

The Bangers are back!

Jeffrey Steck, Lord of the Fjord

Looks like a thick sode

Steven Addison
