I loved this arc. The energy Lou brought for Jabari was innovative, and led to a really fun and different vibe from the rest of the campaign. The multiple arcs in the world create a real positive difference from the band of boobs. Looking forward to Caldwell's return and how the chocho crew will build in the outstanding work of the hex buds. Also wanted to give real props to Jake and Emily. This is your world and the energy Jabari came in with could have created some conflict. But where each character led the story, the other players fell into step and it felt very satisfying, complete and fresh. Outstanding work! Oh and I guess Brian did ok too weaving all the completely left field things the hex bloods threw at him while maintaining pace and a coherent world, only kidding! Sublime work Mr DM!

As a plant scientists, I just wanted to say that roses do "fruit" but they are non-edible fruits. A lot of flowering plants fruit but the fruit is simply the protective tissue around the seeds. Some fruits like apples and tomatoes are tasty because they want animals to eat them and disperse the seeds. Most plants do not make their fruits tasty, so we do not think of the as fruits in a dietary sense. I am also curious what Terry was after with the pollen of the plant.
