So here's my opinion on it, if you were to buy that hat at hot topic you'd pay like 25 - 30 bucks for it. If you don't want the hat but you want the beanie just drop 25 bucks for the beanie. If you want the hat drop 20 - 25 bucks for the hat or whatever they're going to charge for it. Love them both. And i am so getting a Hey There Centaurs shirt.

I don’t like baseball hats as much, so maybe as a different style hat? Or maybe something else because I do like the design of the sigil. Stickers and pins are always a good idea too! Baseball hats just never sit right in my head, despite loosening them and whatnot.

My suggestion would actually to make it about 2-3 times larger and offset it to one side of the cap, I think that would look really cool

The thought of a Eldermourne scented candle is so good, I'm picturing like dried leaves with light smokey vanilla notes for sure. Love the ball cap idea as well, the crest is simple and subtle, I've been wanting a plain black cap like that :D
