belated congratulations to caldwell and suze!! also, in 2019 i started the “none to run” interval program where i’d alternate walking and running. at first it was a huge struggle to slowly jog for even 30 seconds, and i listened to naddpod to keep myself entertained. i distinctly remember listening to the first bullywog encounter while doing laps of a local park with water views. by the time i was able to run continuously for 25 minutes, i was near the end of the campaign and loved listening to the adventures of the BoBs while i exercised. i got out of the running habit all of last year but i do hope to pick it back up!

I loved the show and made a rule that I could only listen to it while running which motivated me to keep doing it each day and to run longer so I could listen to more. I ended up losing about 20kgs (44lbs) in the time it took to listen to all of campaign one + short rests. Thank you guys for the entertainment and unintentional motivation, I'm the happiest and healthiest I've ever been.

Story about running and listening to NADDPOD: last year I was all by myself for thanksgiving and decided to run 10 miles. The episode that came out that day was the first DK one shot so I listened to that while I ran 10 miles on thanksgiving to not feel as alone❤️

If I'm not just getting a ring of three wishes then I'd say a Headband of Intellect for an uncommon item I'd actually want. Thinking about, say Str, a fucking brown bear has a 19 Str. So imagine what a 19 Int is supposed to be like. And for spells, things like plant growth or any speak with dead/plants/animals are pretty wild. Or the actual application of knowing divination could also be crazy. Depending on what a disease is in magical parlence, lesser restoration is a good choice.

I woke up this cozy Christmas eve to this and I couldn't be happier. Me and my little family are going to do our tradition of 1 present today and after, me and my son are gonna listen to this, he loves you guys. He was rolling laughing at a joke in an episode and asked where I found you guys and it lead me down a path of nostalgia that almost made me cry. Gloomstaulker rogues can work great in melee with cunning action/uncanny dodge combos plus higher hit die, so it's not necessarily the lack of a bow as the fact that the sickle isn't finesse, so you can't get sneak attack on it. (I wouldn't put it past the DM to have missed that though.)

first off, congrats dadwell! second off, murph kinda goofed up with that example of a character who multiclassed without minmaxing. i believe the paladin/rogue character he was talking about was Vaxildan from s1 of critical role, and if memory serves that guy was doing like 200 damage per attack every turn at like level 15. so while there were story reasons for it, he was also obviously minmaxed
