Caldwell's got a busy week leading into the holiday, so Murph will be taking over the Terran's Journal spot this month with an "Ask a DM" stream to answer your questions about the game! 11:30AM PST - Ask a DM (w/ Murph) (Sailors of the Stormborn Tier)
1:00PM PST - Pre-Gaming with Hardwon (w/ Jake) (One Big Bed Tier)

As a DM, how do you organize all your notes for locations, characters, plot structure (and sub-plot) as your campaign progresses forward? I have heard many recommendations for Microsoft One Note, but I would like to hear your opinion since I feel that your campaigns are streamlined phenomenally. Iโm a huge fan of your work and would appreciate any feedback, so thanks in advance!

2020-12-22 02:10:55 +0000 UTCI just dm'd my first ever session this weekend (I've never even played before but Naddpod and D20 have been my obsession for the past year and a half) and something I was curious about is how do you find a way to flesh out and make random non-essential/background NPCs interesting to talk to if your players decide to talk to them (and you didn't plan for them to do that?) I'm assuming this will be come easier the longer I play and DM but man, having to do it myself made me once again realize how amazing a DM you are murph and make everything seem so natural and funny even if it's just a random interaction. Thanks so much!
