However, tortoises (and turtles) do not have the ability to "love" like humans do. The way that it was described to me was that reptiles do not associate action to emotion. Our tortoise knows us, trusts us, enjoys when we touch his neck, etc. It is difficult not to anthropomorphize his behavior as love, but alas.

2020-12-22 04:26:28 +0000 UTCThe conversation about doing the worm on stage in the middle of a Broadway play reminded me of a friend from college who always joked about having several ways you could earn his "eternal respect." One was staying the night at a friend's house and replacing all the family photos with photos of yourself (this would require premeditation and measuring of photo sizes). Another was rollerskating through a mall until you are physically restrained. I think doing the worm on the Broadway stage during a performance would 100% be on this list.

Also a heads up that there was a filled version of the nutcracker ballet starring Home Alone's own, macaulay culkin, in the role of the nutcracker, which I watched religiously as a child and still have very fond memories for. Might I say, my excitement if you ever did a nutcracker themed one shot, my excitement would be tantamount

While making a dance party video to stay connected with students at the start of quarantine in the spring, I smashed my face against the ground while doing the worm that left me with a trip to the hospital and 3 stitches in my eyebrow.

Also team zard because turtles smell pretty gnarly. You'll be hard pressed to find a stinky lizard. I would 100% pay so much money for a patron tier to watch the zoom call recording of the short rest, and Emily's break dancing transition move really drives this need home.

I was a pretty accomplished dancer (and performed the nutcracker many times), but in an advanced dance class age 15 surrounded by adults, we had to do cartwheels, which was a skill I’ve just truly never been able to do.. and the teacher made me still walk across the floor attempting to cartwheel while everyone else was actually able to cartwheel.. traumatising tbh
