I've playtested both at all tiers of gameplay as a DM and silvery barbs is good, it's just nowhere near gamechanging (outside of being used at later tiers to force failed saves, which is never what I see people complain about)

I cause so many shenanigans in our group that for a short time our (awesome) DM dubbed us the Shenanigang. If there isn't at least a couple fits of uncontrollable laughter per session the whole table is failing IMO.

That any voice Emily (or anyone on NADDPOD, really) does is anything but good just hates fun. The show is great, and those are two of my favorite parts. D&D is fun, and I haven't had a good session that hasn't had someone in tears laughing at some point.

As much as I loved the first campaign, I remember finding it very stressful to listen to. The plot tension ramps up to 100 during the Galaderon Saga and then basically never gets below 90. Just an unremitting sense of urgency underlying all the goofs.

2020-10-09 00:41:58 +0000 UTCI think the Order of Scribes Wizard subclass would make a lot of sense for Fia, since it's all about having an awakened spellbook, and the 14th level feature where you can sacrifice spells known in exchange for not dying is extremely cool, especially given the pokemon-esque aspect of spellbooks in this world
