The fact there are over 125 comments supporting D'Emily is amazing. But it shows the quality of a truly magnificent horror genre D&D game. Coming off the dragon talk interview, I was so happy to see this in my feed! It surpassed all expectations and blew my mind. Em, you handled the shenanigans so well! Brennan was optimizing as best he could and you kept him in line beautifully. After the opening salvo in the final battle, you quickly leveled the palying field with the beams! As a newer dm, I can say combat balance is a tough one. But keep throwing these horror one shots at us! And if it is possible, I'd love to use this horror setting as a side quest in my home campaign! Such a different vibe to throw at my players! Lastly, I'm expecting Caldwell to make his next Terran's Journal be the Tall Squad!

Hey Emily I just listened to that dragon podcast (ton of fun) and it kind of makes me sad that you can think for a second that you did a bad job. Your heavy storytelling/atmospheric/dark fairytale style worked wonderfully, this was an amazing game and story to listen to. It kind of felt like hearing a Witcher short story. About all the stuff you prepared and wasn't used, just keep it for later! Re-purpose it! It's never wasted.
