Shingen really hurt me PERSONALLY in the beginning ngl dawg, but we now know that he definitely cared all along. I think him neglecting Gun as his son at 1st fucking destroyed me internally. But he always had a heart, but the corrupted syndicate + father had him on lock. Somi Park is also part of the problem, she eventually let Shintaro sway her & brought the idea of cheating/infidelity to her + the opinions of the less fortunate wives got to her head.
