It kinda took away from it slightly I thought. A goof is a goof and if it screws up thats part and parcel of a goof ! Other than that great job, I love the way you describe places elaborately.

If Nnyac just follows Jens around, he loses so much agency and character development, and it never creates conflict for Jens, forcing both to remain static.
