I love how Daddy Murph went out of his way to explain how the ship worked and NONE of the Band of Boobs took that as a sign that maybe they should have paid attention. I think there hasn't been any in world implication that there would be a need for him to come out? We don't know if Bev Sr knows about him and Erlin, but there also has been literally no point where we've seen homophobia exist in Bahumia, which makes me very happy (especially since it's literally Christian in origin, and there's no Christianity in Bahamia). I can't imagine Balnor's been traveling this long with them and DOESN'T know he's with Erlin; it comes up fairly regularly, and also I think he was there when Bev told Cran and Derlin.

I would assume his mom probably knows now since Erlin is chilling with her in the material plane and he may have brought it up but Bev Sr. and Balnor definitely dont know right? Although having just Moonshine and Hardwon to confide in might be enough for Bev for now.

LOL I agree with Emily in how the scene with Terran and Bev played out was a lot more interesting and complex. It added a lot more depth to the whole Beverlin thing that I can't believe started out as a joke at this point. Hope that the next time we see Erlin he glows up af. Magic talk! So Squee is immortal. He was a joke character that was consistently killed off in a South Park Kenny style where he consistently came back to life so he was given immortality. This is reflected in both of his cards Karn I've heard pronounced both (Carn) and (Cairn) though the first is what I have heard most often. Love the show! Thanks for all the work!

To add onto what Caldwell said about the Elves. Elves are physically and mentally adults at the same rate as humans, but their aging slows down as soon as they physically reach adulthood. So there aren't any 40 year old elves running around that look and act like 8 years old. What he is referencing is that elves are not culturally considered adults until around 100, and so they are still treated as immature before that. So basically the same way that a lot of elves view humans. This makes sense as a culture when the *middle aged* people around you have 200-300 years of experience, and so in their minds they are thinking "What should I care what this 18 year old thinks? Come back after another 100 years kid and then we will take you seriously."

Caldwell, you did a great job playing a confused teenager in an LDR who is at constant risk of death, just realized he was gay, has no idea when he'll see any of his friends or family (or bf) again, and had less than two days with his bf before they got completely separated, having never actually defined any sort of relationship or boundaries! It was upsettingly believable, and I really felt for him

Not to be super serious but I have always been a bi male and I had a high school boyfriend and afte highschool we kinda fell off as adults do well recently I met him again at the the mall and I was there with my girlfriend and my ex boyfriend was nice and pleasent but I really could tell he was kinda hurt and listening to this episode totally made me get in my feels in a good way I can't wait to see what happens with Bev anyways it was a great episode this week and a great short rest 😘

I loved this episode and the short rest. The music for the owlbear scene was so good, as was every other part of that scene. The mtg goblin influence was also very fun (Caldwell was right that Squee becomes immortal btw, but not till well after Exodus).

I’m not mad at Caldwell for his decision, I just got stressed out because I had gay stuff in another DnD podcast happen and I’m happy and overwhelmed with gay content. Also bisexual Erlin is great, it’s always good to bisexual characters I can relate to. Murph and Caldwell giving me the gay content I wanted and needed.
