Just a quick comment for Emily, who ever told you that multiclass isn't good in 5e is really misinformed. Certain combinations aren't the greatest, but very few are actually bad. Your characters are probably even better suited than a lot of others since you rolled stats, as the effectiveness of a multiclass are really more dependent on what your stats look like. I don't know what the boobs stats are, but rolled stats generally come up better than point buy so I would imagine most of you are in a decent place to muticlass. While you as a druid are losing a little casting power, turning into a bear and going into a rage is pretty dang awesome. Rage is also a great thing for Moonshine if she is getting beat up for that resistance to physicals, so using your rage in Wildshape or as a defensive maneuver is great. It's all about how to use a multiclass properly and making sure not to double up on abilities too much.

A few questions... Can you please do a show in the UK? I know its promoting the enemy...but I always want more content...can you guys suggest any other D&D podcasts that are as somewhere near as good as yours and with great audio quality...? (that question goes to anyone reading this as you clearly have good taste) I've tried a couple but the audio quality doesn't really hold up in comparison. Alternatively, could you have a goal on Patreon to start releasing 2 episodes a week? Could you start doing an episode each time your characters levels up? In the first hearthside chat, Emily talked about getting every chest in every video game ... but the BoB spends an uncharacteristically small amount of time searching for treasure, looting fallen enemies, shopping, etc., vs a normal campaign. Do you discuss or address this between edits or have an SOP, or is this just something that isn't going to come up in the campaign?

Murph here. I think if Jayson listens to NADDPOD religiously than he probably has a better handle on how a D&D game flows than a lot of new DMs. I had only played 1 game of 3.5 before I started DMing and it was my first time playing 5e! Playing first is great obviously, but sometimes you're the only one who's willing to read the books and prep the sessions! It also depends on who you're playing with -- a bunch of experienced players might have a hard time with a new DM (then again, why aren’t they running the game themselves?), but a bunch of excited newbs aren’t gonna care if it’s a little clunky at first. Everybody can learn together. Jayson, I would check out the 5e Starter Set -- it's much much easier to run than other modules, but feels like just as good a game of D&D imo. My first campaign started with the starter set, then I homebrewed once they reached level 5 and I kind of knew what I was doing. If you are nervous and want to do a dry run, try running a mini-encounter with 1 close friend or partner who’s excited to learn (I did this with Emily). The character approaches an old cabin in the woods that once belonged to a distant family member. They have a valuable family heirloom (an amulet) that the player has come to collect. However, when they approach, the cabin is derelict and eerily quiet (unbeknownst to them, the family member is now a skeleton lying in bed and wears the amulet around their neck). This allows you to practice dealing with players interacting with their environment and combat in a way that is low stakes and easy for you to manage. Describe the house and surroundings and let them explore, then base the skeleton’s reaction on how they play. Do they stealth up and steal the necklace? Roll sleight of hand, on a fail, the skeleton grabs them and they enter combat. On a success, the skeleton wakes up, but the player gets the jump on them. Do they investigate the skeleton right up in its face? Skeleton pops up and attacks! Do they yell from the outside? Skeleton readies itself at the door!

A while ago, my friends and I made a creative business venture similar to yours, and just recently it has become more popular and we are starting to bring in decent revenue from advertising dollars and merch. I completely understand if you don't want to get into specifics, but I was curious about how you structure your business model for something like this? The obvious answer is to evenly split everything with money left over for investing back into the project, but what about when one of you is working more than the others? For example, I'm sure everyone realizes Murph puts in a lot of hours editing, planning, writing, and also now hosting these sessions. He is also most often doing the shoutouts at the end by himself. Caldwell is helping with doing the drawings for monster of the month and merch etc. I'm just really curious about how to go about it, is it putting a price on hourly work and everyone keeping track? Also just an FYI there is a book called “The Dice Man” where a guy bases all of his life decisions on dice rolls and eventually he starts to worship the die, becoming enthralled in a cult like mentality. For a Mixed Bag I think it would be really fun to have the BoB try to replay the Moonstone saga at their current levels and see if they could speed run it in 45 minutes. For those who have DM'd (maybe just Murph): In a campaign I ran recently, the players were about to fight a group in an arena and asked if they could take anything from the room they were in. I mentioned there was a couch, and the party tried desperately and failed to bring down the couch. When they got down, a person from the other party was holding a couch and said "what, you guys didn't bring your couch?" It ended up being a crucial piece of combat. So my question: what's one of the most fun things you've thrown into Naddpod, Trinyville or some other campaign improvised on a whim that ended up becoming an amazing moment?
