Omg listening to this and realizing it's pre-COVID is wild...

Amanda Samperi

Listening to this campaign for the 4th time and listening to Emily talk about wanting to play a Monk after she gets to play as Sophie in D20 and later in Campaign 3 (spoilers) gets me nostalgic everytime

Mason Murtha

“That’s the dream” made me cry lol

Andrew Jennings

Spoiler alert (doubt you need it now, though lol): he comes back multiples times, still as pretentious and douchey as ever!

James Keller

Idk if I’d say Cobb is Rakdos but I honestly don’t where else to place him lol. However, I do feel like Deadeye would 100% be Rakdos lol

James Keller

I'm an artist for D&D and my husband works on MTG Arena, my nerd cred is through the fucking ROOF

Hex Sharpe

Hardwon Boros, Moonshine Golgari, Bev Selesnya, Cobb Rakdos, Balnor mono white. Like white weenie is a legit deck archetype and it's when you have a whole deck full of Balnors. I love this.

Hex Sharpe

"do wolves ever get inflicted with homo" -Emily Axford

Matthew

Then in c3 cobb--

Nobi Wolff

Is something wrong with that?

OldStump

I know I’m half a decade late. But in the film “cursed” lycanthropy is an std. Jennifer gardener’s character specifically contracted it this way. The rest were born, bitten, or ingested ww blood.

OldStump

Omg is this the origin of Jill and Jake's bad marriage lore? Lmao 🤣 it's one of my favorite running bits

Joelle H

I actually was really sad Galad was killed. I loved his pretentious ass lol

SecondBreakfast

Hahaha level of nerd in this comment gives me strength

Joelle H

"No one's trying to fuck Ol' Cobb" UH HELLO??? MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Wyatt Sheppard

I'd trust Cobb, I wouldn't trust Murph.

Cj Ferrigno

Caldwell really said "mythical Johnny Appleseed, Forrest Gump type"

1man2hands

Wait so this is almost the inception of jvln huh

1man2hands

Cool!

Castaway

"Lycanthropy" is "Lycan" (wolf) plus "anthropos" (human). Other creatures are, say, "Ailuranthropes" (cat-people) or- one assumes- "Ursanthropes" (bear-people). The general term is "therianthropy" (animal-people), though I think D&D, being occasionally stupid, just calls all of them "Lycanthropes". "Homoanthropy" would be a human that turns into another human, which is basically just the plot of Jekyll & Hyde. A wolf that turns into a human would arguably be either (a) still just a "lycanthrope" or (b) an "anthrolycan".

Nathan

Can I just say that the metal when Luna howls was one of the greatest moments of my short life? I don't know if Emily composed that, since it's not the usual background music fare, but I want to know what it is.

Nathan

You could absolutely do a NADDPODD pop up with some place who would do the menu for you, this is LA! lol, I would pay hella money for this.

alyssa

3.5 Low-key rules lawyer, even though this is super late. There is no level requirement in 3.5 via the Epic Level Handbook.

Taylor Schult

Yo 3:50 is where Brian gets the idea for the liveshow!

William Lyle

I don't know about the modern game (I have to get the new books!) but I remember that it was awesome that in the old AD&D game, the Monk was essentially like a kung fu master and it could slap people to death.

Scott Schubert

Give me that Not Another D&D Book

M Scott Anderson

Thanks for the heads up! That does sound cool because you can basically just choose all cleric spells if you want, plus you can get a free cure wounds that doesn't count against your spells. It would be even better if it was healing word to get that range healing haha.

Michael Sanders

Another cool healer class is the divine soul sorcerer. That's a pure healer + spell caster kinda job. Clerics are a lot more tanky which is also super fun

Dylan Denison

Both Hillhome and Tuscany have one thing in common, and that's barely used 2nd homes

Thomas Hillman

Hillhome is definitely the Tuscany of Bahumia!

Jacq Attack

I'm about to start a new D&D campaign and I was between Cleric and Monk and when Emily and Murph described Spirit Guardians it totally made that decision super easy.

Michael Sanders

Can we go back to 1:45 to 2 hr episodes?! 1 hr is not enough!! Please!

Joseph P

Oh Melora, please do play some Magic the Gathering!

Thomas Friedlander

Bev is a campfire daddy!

Joshua Steiner

Oh Melora!!! This was the best episode so far!!! First you hit us with Kawaii wolf girl with a deadlier tsundere side (yes I imagine her as anime wolf girl!! Fight me!!!). And story daddy gives a creepy tone and scary journals inside the mist! Thank you Story Daddy Murph!! Also Caldwell you better give Luna cute wolf ears!!! Or I’ll hunt you down... or I’ll just write you a strongly worded letter... that will just turn into a five star review because I love the show too much

Alex aka Zol Ark

I would preorder the module 100%. Also would preorder the donkey kong module, sight unseen.

Olivia Moody

Can I just write ot3 fanfics of Moonshine/Luna/Hardwon? Because I feel like this is a good solution of the issue here.

Derek E.

The Italy of bahumia is definitely that place where Bev's mum and Nana went at the end of the galaderon saga

Thomas Hillman

Ahhh man, good episode guys! Big 'Ol cliffhanger

GaviRhino

I like that with Luna now Murphy plays more party member then the rest combined. I am counting him playing Paw-Paw in this.

Kevin Alman

I feel like Caldwell wouldn’t like playing a Warlock

Rich Hilborn

This reminds me so much of the movie ”Annihilation”... hmmm

I would buy the module SO fast.

Matthew Wicker

I would totally buy your module and make a podcast just for y'all to listen to.

Shenshen

Melora blesses you

Reynaldo Ramirez

I live for this moment.

Hannah Miriam

Thank you Story Daddy. Very much appreciate all the hard work you put into this for us.
