A new original story, this one is set in a world where angels, demons, and other spirit beings move in relative secrecy among humanity. I say 'relative secrecy' because a small number of people are aware of the truth, and exploit the knowledge and powers of these beings for gain when possible.
The story follows Seraphim, an angel held captive by the church, after her escape from captivity, and falling in with a man who once moved through that shadowy world with the same ease that fish moved through water.
Dragged back into the underworld he thought he left behind, Gabriel Robertson has nothing to lose, and believes, nothing to gain, except clearing his debt with the dead.
But he couldn't be more wrong.
