I seriously hate talking about this, and I always worry that it will result in more of what I'm trying to avoid. When people discuss leaks, it sometimes causes more leaks. It's a tough topic.

Basically, there's a site that allows Patreon patrons to scrape all the content that's on a creator's page, and then it gets posted for free. I realized I needed to do something, because I had way more followers on my page on that horrible site than I do on Patreon (and I still do even after changing how access works almost two years ago), and I wasn't making enough to continue this as a career. This way, my posts get scraped, but there's no attachments, so people can't listen to my paywalled work for free.

I have hundreds of free audios, and I post at least one a month. I know not everyone can pay, and there are many ways to support creators besides financially.

I know that it's so much easier to listen to audios on the Patreon platform, and it's WAY easier for me to post them that way, and I really wish I could. This is more work for everyone, but at the end of the day though, I do need to support my family, so I can't give away everything for free. This has been a sore spot for me since 2021 when I first saw what was happening. I contacted Patreon about it, and the site in question, and received no help with it. I've done the proper take-down requests, but they don't work since this site isn't in the US. Patreon has tried suing the site as well.
