Figure Stand

Out now over on the website you can grab this super easy to print Figure Stand! I have designed two versions, the first has small cut outs at the bottom of the stand that fits the included connector piece so that the stands fit snug together and will slide around as one unit if you need to move them. The other version does not have the cut out and is independent from the others that you may print.

Both versions have included recesses under the top of the stand to add magnets to the stand. As some may be aware, some miniature gaming models have magnetized bases so that the models stay put when travelling and just incase you bump into your display, the models will stay on these stands too. The recesses will fit an 18mm magnet or smaller but..

be careful what glue you use with your magnets! Through my own testing I have found out Super Glue causes a reaction with the magnets and will tarnish and stain PLA.

You might also want to consider playing with the first layer pattern on your prints to get a stylish design, I went with the Concentric on some of mine and liked it.
