It's been a while, but I'm back with renewed strength and feeling a lot more relaxed. Mostly, I've been taking it easy and actually being happy for a change. It was kinda weird, but I got the hang of it eventually. What I've been cooking in the meantime is that the outline is done and I've decided on an interesting structure for this release. I think it's gonna be fun. And there's gonna be a few exploration sequences where I'll apply all the feedback I got from the previous one and get them to be engaging and fun without dragging out too long. My plan is to make them short and easy to go through, but with a bunch of hidden optional stuff for people who enjoy exploration. Also, a map navigation system.
But that's for later. For now, I started writing the story and I'll keep writing until I get to something like 3-4k words so I have some text prepared before I get into rendering scenes. While that's going on, I started a cinematography course (it's for unreal, but most of the stuff should apply) and got a book on animation. I think it's about time I started learning these things in a structured way, rather than trial and error like I did up to this point.
Anyway, break's over, we're going into full production now.
Hope you're having an amazing day!

Except for some specific Unreal things, everything applies. The theory of lighting is the same whether you use Daz, unreal, poser, or some unwieldy 3d package in the future.;)

2024-07-01 22:28:23 +0000 UTCOh, definitely. I don't do well with authority, so having some asshole threaten to fail me for not doing my homework or something wouldn't fly with me anymore. I'm surprised I tolerated it in the past
