Yes... because the marraige option gives you (the dev) the option of allowing the MC to change himself/his feelings to a degree, rather than just manipulate the LIs. Shifting from Sugar Daddy to genuine romantic love would involve interesting character evolution on the part of the MC... which might be fun for you to write.
