Which Route Do You Like Playing?

I completely get your takes on April and Lee. I feel the same way. Brianne is a mixed bag for me as well b/c I found her to have parts of both girls. She's like April in the sense that the guidance route could make her into something she couldn't do before (she said stuff like it was too late to start and didn't seem to have confidence). She's also like Lee in that she feels guilty about cheating on her boyfriend. I do think she's not as "far" to either side as each girl. I do get your comment about "appeasing" her (I felt that way when she responded negatively towards you being only slightly late) so I'd rather choose corruption since she's also not as far into her relationship with her boyfriend as Lee is with her husband. (I haven't played Version 3b yet though).

2020-06-29 11:27:59 +0000 UTCFinished 3b, and thought I'd elaborate a little more here (especially since it seems guidance is unpopular right now) The reason I go for guidance with April is because it feels more like Victor is capable of directing change in her life. She comes from a family of strippers, has expensive tastes, and desperately wants to be a famous model. One could say that the corruption outcome was almost assured with or without Victor's interference. In the guidance route one can veer her towards a path she likely could not get to on her own. Leading her to classier look and demeanor. One could consider this route the "long term investment" With Lee, it's the opposite. In the guidance path Victor essentially gives her what she thought her life would be before her husband fell into trouble. He is just replacing her husband, not really bringing on change. I'm the corruption path, however, Victor starts to open her up to things she never knew she wanted. A life she didn't imagine but which excites her. With Brianne... I don't know. I guess Brianne is already the most like someone like Katie. As such it's hard to imagine it leading to anything but where Katie ended up in the most extreme cases, which is fine but well worn ground. The problem with guidance though is that it feels like the right answers become "appeasing". Telling her what she wants to hear and reaffirming her. As such, her outcome on this path just seems like "puff her up" which is also unappealing. I like her content and her look, but her outlook is not as positive. (as a side note, it would be nice if Daphne's appearance on corruption had the option of it having been the MC who corrupted her, which I think parallels Victor's role better than some third party)

2020-06-29 05:43:28 +0000 UTCIt depends on the girl. I have April in guidance, Lee on corruption. Brianne I am unsure of. I like and dislike elements of both (I dislike the appeasement in guidance, but dislike the trajectory of corruption). It's high love for all, though.
