2023-03-24 23:59:31 +0000 UTCHappy birthday! 30 was worse than 40 for me, btw. Parenting: Bullying is way worse thanks to cell phones and tech, in my opinion. But I feel somewhat safer that I can find my 10 year old thru her phone unless it's stolen/ turned off. I graduated HS in 98. So it's scary that now I have to worry they could be shot at school each day. My 7 year old had an active shooter drill the other day. I think each generation definitely has its good and bad parts of raising kids in that era. No matter what, it's hard, and I have no clue wtf I'm doing 95% of the time. Also, we had pagers/beeper in the 90s, and those sucked. My mom would start paging me near curfew, and it was so annoying. I issued that thing, lol!
