So I’m half way through the episode where they are talking about how the boyfriend isn’t asking questions when he found out she was killed. When my sister was murdered, I was 15 (we knew something had happened at her job, we didn’t know what or how or who, we just knew she wasn’t answering and no one was telling us anything). When the police finally showed up, my mom ran outside. My mom was in hysterics. I just stood in the doorway, no emotion on my face, and walked away. I had absolutely nothing to do with what happened, but if they didn’t know that. I probably would’ve been suspect number one and I hate that. Grief is such a complex thing. I did not cry about my sister for 3 years. Does that makes someone a murderer? Absolutely not? Does that makes someone look automatically guilty? No! We need to stop saying these things! I thought for so so so long something was wrong with me and I didn’t love my sister because of that. We need to stop stigmatizing the way people react to trauma and grief! That is why I’m in school to specialize in it :) Peyton, I understand where you are coming from and you are just saying it because that’s what we are shown and what is fed to us! Garrett is right, grief is so complex and different for everyone! I love you guys so much! If you need anything, I’m here 💜💜

Good but too short.

Premature post! Meant to say “definitions for”

Interesting episode. The English major (and true crime fan) in me wants to have you look up the definiogir the following three word: Secretor and Non Secretor vs. non sequitor - important difference
