Progress Report

Greetings, everyone!

Let's start with today's big news: In addition to Vanguard, version 2.0 of Supermodel Snapshot will also let you photograph Seraphim. She comes with her own graphics, theme song, cards, scenario(s), and distinct gameplay style. The above image is the first picture from her opening scenario. Best of all? Almost everything I just mentioned is already in the game and fully working. 

All right, moving on to the actual progress report...

I finally wrapped up the piece of music I've been working on for the past few weeks. I can now reveal that this was Seraphim's theme song, named "Fire in my Step," and I absolutely adore it. I cannot wait for you all to hear it. I might give you a teaser before the update itself comes out. You will hear this music while playing Seraphim's scenarios, while the gameplay music you heard in 1.0 will remain unique to Vanguard's scenarios as this is her character theme. Each new character I introduce in the future will similarly have her own music.

With the music done, I promptly moved on to working on scenarios. This required adding a small selection of new Challenge cards, one of which will only appear in Seraphim's first scenario and never again. I combined these cards with an assortment of Challenge cards from 1.1 to create her intro scenario. Let me tell you, it feels totally different from the demo scenario you've gotten used to. While you might breeze through this on lower difficulties with the starting deck, beating the harder difficulties will require careful deckbuilding with Seraphim's style in mind. Luckily, deckbuilding is what Snapshot 2.0 is all about.

Right now, I'm creating the pictures you will see during Seraphim's photoshoot. So far, only the one you see above is finished, but I don't expect the rest to take much time. 

Things are shaping up. I aim to get the update out this month, even if I have to cut some corners to do so. I might not make it, but I'll try with all my might.
