Progress Report

This week, I've been focusing on one of the new sex scenes in this update. I'm almost done making the renders for it, though there is still a little bit left. It's going to be a quite fun though short scene that offers the opportunity to do something to a particular character that we haven't been able to do so far. Tease, tease. On the plus side, this scene got slightly expanded (but is still short) compared to what I had initially planned for it. It's the kind of thing that can happen when you set up an environment and characters, and then realize that a prop you stumbled across is too good not to build the scene around.
I had hoped to be well on my way with the second of this update's two sex scenes by this progress report, but alas! I experienced the classic family emergency this week (which seems to have thankfully resolved positively today). It has kept me somewhat distant and distracted (life-and-death situations with loved ones tend to have that kind of effect). Work has been slower than usual as a result. I know family emergencies are the classic crowdfunding excuse. Still, I'd say we've been relatively lucky to have avoided one until now for the three years this campaign has lasted.
With things resolved and my summer vacation coming up, I expect to have a lot more time and energy to charge full steam ahead towards finishing this thing. Honestly, I'm going to be very happy to put the endgame behind me, for this is a bitch to write and implement. It's all worth it, though, and it's something I'll have to do only once.
The end of July is looming way too close for comfort right now, but I'm still hopeful.

Don't get too excited. These scenes aren't revolutionary in any way and aren't something people have been begging for, and they appear in a... strained... part of the story. But they'll still be nice. :)
