W.I.P. - September 2021

Hello once again loyal Patreons.

It's monthly WIP round-up time again and this month of September has been a complete load of bullshit. I should, right now, have a brand new PC in front of me capable of getting the most out of my KH models. And I've just been getting dick teased by it the whole month long. 

You see right at the start of last month, when I started animating Aqua in earnest I discovered that she was just to powerful for my tiny computer to work with so rather than scale down her quality I pulled the trigger on the new PC I've been saving up for these last couple years. I managed to get a not completely extortionate price on a 3090 FE and everything (and now in the future i feel much better about the price because today you cannot get one for anything close to what I paid). I had my brother build it for me because he does it for a living & I know it'll work perfectly. all in all a really smooth build but there were just enough problems to delay it's arrival by a week. Needed a more optimum case & the thermal paste replacing on the graphics card. That was all done, it's working perfectly, getting 76-78 degrees under full load on the 3090 (was hoping for sub 70, but it's still within safe operating limits). And then the media had to create a fake fuel crisis which created a real one when dickheads went out and panic bought all the fuel. So it's just sitting at my brothers house, not being used to create any pornography at all. And it seems like that's where it's going to stay for at least another week. So there's that.

So what I have been doing instead is focusing on my Medli projects, namely her feature SFM animation and her public blender model.

The animation has been a lot of fun to get back into. It's actually been a while since I wrapped Aquatica Erotica and it feels good to have an enormous animation project to work on again. Yeah the little ones are fun too, but they are always so limiting & there's never much room for improvisation lest it blow up into another giant project I never intended. But when it's supposed to be giant and I can just run with it and make up stuff on the fly, that's when I enjoy it the most I think.

The project it's self is still rather disjointed since I'd just been working on separate individual positions, rather than any of the connective tissue. So I've just picked a point and I've started moving forward and filling in the gaps so the scenes flow from one to another. I'm going to do the actual intro later (because i wanted to do some fun parts first) so we start with a lap dance kind of scene:

And then we transition to her in his lap and we play around here for a bit:

And what we're ultimately working towards is her spinning around to face him so they can start screwing like this:

Because that's the next bit that's kind of fleshed out so once I join then up I should have a solid 5 minutes, which will probably wind up being about half of the proper porn content (not including the intro). It's still kind of hard to track the length of the thing, but I think I've added a couple of minutes this month. I'm making good time because I'm not doing any sound on this pass through, I'm just doing the body work and then I'll go back later, throw some sounds on there and then animate that into what I've already done. Another slightly different method, but this time I'm trying not to let the audio dictate the pace of the thing so shots don't run on too long because I'm using a really long sound clip.

And we also have the public Medli model I'll be putting out for everyone. I essentially re-built her from the ground up using all the new tricks I've learnt from making Aqua and she is very nearly done. She has a custom body with a couple of different texture options:

Eight different outfits for her to wear, all of which come with multiple options for revealing body parts. Here's a look at a few of them:

I'm really pleased with some of these, they've come out very nicely indeed. Today i have been putting her through her paces in an actual test, posing her for some proper renders to see how she works. Mostly a complete success. Her feet are doing some very weird things, none of the adjustment shapekeys on her neck work properly and will need to be deleted and the big problem is that there is one vertex on her neck that moves just a bit when ever one of her shapekeys is activated and after 5-10 her neck is totally screwed. It took SO LONG to figure out it wasn't any one of them, but all of them together that were doing and and now I get to go through all 120 or so of her shapekeys and correct just that one vertex. Sigh. But she works well enough that I was able to get these out of her:

So once I've fixed these last few issues it'll be time to find some people to test her for me and then i'll put her out there for the world to enjoy.

And finally, the most important and doubly most anticipated part of the breakdown, the Eldar Narn update. Well you'll be pleased to hear that I have got a few more pages done this month. They're getting longer and longer as I get better at condensing the panels per pages. It's probably would be twice as many when I started. But the end of the Chapter is well in sight now. Meredhel & Kala will talk about gossip with the priestesses & about the up coming ritual & then we have everyone leave through a secret passage that will be important later. Everything between where I am now & the secret passage is all very easy stuff so that should fly by. Need a new set for the very end which will be a bit of a fuss, but it's a super simple one as it's just a passageway & then a couple of panels in the dungeon. Shouldn't take but a day to knock that up.

And there we go. That's about all the relevant news I have for you this month. In non relevant news, this month I discovered Grappler Baki & it's my new favourite thing. Shame there aren't any chicks to rule34 though. 

I hope, so sincerely and deeply do I hope that the new computer will be up and running by the time we get to the next one of these, this silly bullshit can't possibly go another month. So I will leave you here & hope for the best.
