June 2020 - W.I.P Update

Hello Friends,

And how many friends there are at the moment. As far as i can tell five of you have stuck with me! Nothing against those fine people who just want to pay once for the 4K vids, I greatly appreciate everyone's contributions but those of you who stick around, you're my dudes. Also I'm opening up the monthly WIP newsletter to all tiers so that even the $1 tier gets something. I think that's fair. Every contribution counts so everyone should get something.

So what has been happening in June? Well, a lot & at the same time very little. I've started the weekly WIP Channel on the discord where you can see pictures of what's been going on & have a chance to give feedback. A couple of pictures too. Oh & I've acquired a newer version of the Nexgen body I use to make all my head-hacks & this one has an actual neck! On the downside this means that all my head-hacks (or most of them) will need to be re-done on the new body but truth be told that really isn't very hard. On the upside it means that everyone is no longer required to wear some kind of collar which should make a lot of the head-hack work moving forwards look better. So expect better Namine & Kairi builds for KH Round #3. Not much else going for odd side projects this month, my attention has been elsewhere.

On the animation front, no releases since the last KH. Very quiet month. The reason for this is the Edging Handjobs video has gotten out of hand. In exactly the way I said it wouldn't last month. As you may recall the original plan was to do lots of simple animations and sacrifice complexity of animation for variety of scenes. However it seems  am just incapable of knowingly making a sub-par scene when I know it could be done better. What this means is we have found up with complex animations AND a variety of scenes, sacrificing nothing. Except time. 

So this is where the vast majority of my time has gone this week. I've decided on 6 scenes: intro, boob play, masturbation, ass play, fuck machines & rope bondage. Intro is done, you've all seen that. Boob play is 95% done. Only have the hair to do in the last shot, but that last shot has wound up being 27 seconds long (which is close to how long the whole first scene was!). Got the basic poses for most of the remaining scene in place already. The rope bondage positions are all set, that took some doing but it's all set for animation, the ropes are attached to the right bones so the whole mess moves the right way when you move their bodies. Boob play had lots of very trick bits where they're doing complicated kissing or sucking on each other boobs while their bodies are moving so it's been slow going but some of the later more complicated scenes are actually less complicated to animate so I think Boob Play was the big hurdle & the others wont take as long. I'll be rendering it scene by scene, rather than all at the end so there should be minimal downtime waiting for the render. I'm really hoping we can get it done before August.

We're still on the boobjob scene here, managed to get a little further but I haven't actually touched this for nearly 2 weeks. Since the KH one exploded into a much bigger production than I planned (so much so that I might actually have to put the MasterDan Into on it) that I've not had much time for anything else. Also the next thing I need to do here is go back & redo most of the scenes where she is jerking him off because I have developed a much better way to animate this while doing the current KH & I can't knowingly leave it looking shitty when I know I can do better. It's a sickness. So I'm kind of putting off doing that because it's boring. We'll certainly get back to it before the end of the month. At the very least I want the handjobs all re-done & it would be nice if we could be done with the boobjob too.

And now for the REAL reason you're all here, Eldar Narn! You'll no doubt be pleased to know that Chapter Five is well under way. Those of you keeping up to date with the discord WIP channel will have seen the marketplace I built for this chapter to take place in & the first 5 pages are done. I want to get to about 7 or 8 before this will come out as there is a certain point I want to reach first to make sure that I get the lights right when the scene moves further down the market. Shouldn't be too much longer though.

This is a Gizzi & Wyn Chapter and all they really do is walk through the market, talk to some D tier characters and foreshadow some shit that mostly wont happen until the next book. Not much action, but I like Gizzi & Wyn chapters. They're fun to write. Also wont be a very long chapter as there are really only two big story beats we need to hit & they wont take very long. Wont be another 90 page Chapter this time.

And there we go! As I said, lots of ground covered on the KH video but not a lot of other content this month. It'll all be worth it though, this Edging video is definitely my best work so far.
