February 2020 - W.I.P UPDATE

Hello Friends,

It's time for my typically one week of of sync WIP update to let you know how things have been progressing. It's been a frustrating month with WAY to much time devoted to getting the Kairi Kingdom Hearts loop done. I'm always happy to consider suggestions and in response to a request I decided to add a creampie without considering how much more animation is required to do that. While the Namine loop only needed about 3 seconds of animation, Kairi needed 22 & everything that could go wrong, went wrong. The short features aren't meant to eat up that much of my time but I didn't want so huge a gap in my releases that I just had to buckle down and get it finished. But we got there in the end and I'm going to try to stay away from climaxes in the short productions for a while I think. But how have the main projects been progressing you ask?

I'm going to be totally honest, Mei has gotten pushed to the bottom of the priority list this month & I'm likely not going to give her much attention in March either. The Mermaid piece is coming along and I'm feeling confident that with another month of steady focus I can get it mostly finished. In the long term, I think getting a second larger film out sooner rather than later is going to be better for my profile, better for growth & if I can get it on the Pornhub channel while Something About Fruit is still getting 6-7k views a day, then that's going to serve me best. Therefore Mei has seen almost no progress this month. Once the mermaid film is done though, I'll give it a month to see if we can't get a vote going on the next 5 minute piece & just work on this for a while.

So this is where most of my time has gone this month. We are 3 minutes in and all the most complicated stuff has been done. The fishing, the swimming, the boob fondling, the dolphin dive, all done. Lots of work has gone into getting her her right. Since she is floating in the ocean and emerging and submerging, having her hair behave appropriately has needed lots of attention. Also this model has no flexes or rig, only bones so everything has to be done the hard way. But now she is in her final position so she can start sucking a D so it's just a matter of putting out 2-3 minutes of blowjobbery & maybe some titfucking for good measure and we're done and dusted. I've got a full week starting today to really go to town on this one & I'm hoping that I can get most of it done by the next WIP. Maybe even the beginning part rendered. As I mentioned, I really feel that finishing this and getting a second significant piece out there sooner rather than later is going to be better long term, which is why this one is getting all the attention.

And of course Eldar Narn is still plugging away. We're closing in on the end of Chapter 4 now. We've met Illuin, Meredhel has entered the Tavern so the final part of the scene is just about to play out. Expect a little more action to take place before we wrap up, a little implication regarding the nature of Erolith & Illuin's relationship and also maybe the seventh or eighth thing this chapter is setting up which will come out later. Seems like kind of an irrelevant chapter at first but as the story progresses you'll see that certain things that just seem like throwaway comments or just filler at the time turn out to be significant later. In fact I think the only part of chapter 4 that isn't in some capacity also about something else is the stuff about the crown vs the pirate hat at the start. And even that at the end of the day isn't totally irrelevant because it has something to say about the nature of Myrill & Meredhel's relationship, since we see Meredhel seeking & actually listening to Myrill's opinion on the matter and in doing so (and again later) demonstrate that their relationship is more than just master & servant. But enough about subtext. I've been enjoying this chapter, Illuin is a fun character & I've been looking forward to getting her into the story. Also it's interesting to show a different side of Erolith too, that she does take her job seriously when called for & that she doesn't stand for shenanigans from her subordinate officers.

So there we go, all in all not a great month. But they can't all be great. Too much time spent on the short animations, but I've learnt something from that & I can now better plan the short pieces to ensure we don't get bogged down like this again. I'm hoping for better news for you all next month, but before then I have some 4k (or highest available resolution as 1 or 2 have turned out not to have 4k versions) un-watermarked versions of all my Twitter content for 2020 coming out.
