This is an odd one, but let me explain. Animenz has always been an inspiration to me. When he popped onto Youtube about a decade ago and brutally flexed on all other YouTube pianists with his godlike skill, I was in awe, just like everyone else. His arrangements are just fascinating. Guren No Yumiya has always been my favorite, along with Unravel. I know I will never be able to reach Animenz' level, but I challenged myself to try, to become a better pianist. That was back in 2015. I practiced this piece for almost a full year and got it to about 90%. Every musician would probably agree that the last 10% of polish are often the hardest.

Those final 10% broke me. I gave up. I just wasn't good enough.

Now, 7 years later, with Attack on Titan coming to end, I slapped myself back into the challenge. It's now or never. I finally feel confident enough to upload this. It's not perfect. I had to make a few adjustments to make it playable for a non-concert-pianist like me. But I'm happy and pretty damn proud of the result.
