How do you like this little video teaser? Quite a bombshell to start off this development update, don't you think?

The new UltrababeFlix series, coming soon to a streaming service near you!

Ok, jokes aside, it's something I had a little fun with on the side. Video AI creation is starting to turn insanely good and I'm curious where we will be a couple months from now.

Anyways, in August I often felt just as sweaty as our movie hero here - there was quite a heat wave going on where I live. This and the fact that one of my PC fans gave up the ghost made me a little cautious, not overstressing my system in order to neither melt my hardware nor myself (got no AC).

This made progress on the next update a little slower than I was expecting, but now things are back to normal and I'm on a good track to have something ready soon, definitely within this month.

I implemented an enemy encounter / battle system completely from scratch and it is mostly finished. This will make the dungeon raiding a lot more interesting and is part of the second level of dungeon depth that you can now explore.

Also, the iconic pickaxe will make a glorious appearence!

Now I want to add one more scene with Clara and then it will be a worthy Ch.2 0.3 update. I might tease what to expect in a new "Treasure Chest" post soon ;-) . So stay tuned!

Thanks for the patience and recommendation when it comes to fans! You're right, I should probably opt for a Noctua... in sort of panic mode, thinking it's better to have a cheap fan rather than none, I bought one from Arctic, and although it performs well it emits a very annoying high-pitched sound. Well you get what you pay for, I guess. So I'll probably switch that out with a Noctua soon. But at least the immidiate danger of a core meltdown is minimized for now ;-) .

I'll ask - where are you from, what country? Because I'm curious if it's only here in Poland that it's so hot, or is it even worse elsewhere :D As for fans - I recommend you buy fans from Noctua - they're almost armored - it may not be cheap, but they have a 6 or 7 year warranty and I had a couple of them and they were covered in dust and still turned, I never had any problems with bearings, so I highly recommend them. There are of course cheaper substitutes like BeQuiet Silent Wings or Noiseblockers, but Noctua is Noctua - the Ferrari of fans. We wait for your updates like we did for an episode of Game of Thrones - I can't wait to see what happens next - so keep up the good work and we'll keep waiting ;)
