I by no means speak for the band but I recall from a past livestream I watched not too long ago that it would have to be up to the label to have vinyls done in general. The band itself doesn't handle the physical release of the music, at least not directly from what I understand.

I purchased all of their albums on Amazon digitally in my case, with the exception some of the EPs since those aren't on Amazon, I had to buy those on bandcamp instead. Under Your Spell I actually own twice digitally since I pledged for it on PledgeMusic at the time. I had to buy that on Amazon since they stopped supporting uploading your library of songs you already own to Amazon. I still can't believe PledgeMusic shut down. I was actually shocked to find that out.

I really hope you guys release this on vinyl! It would make be great for a 7 or 10 inch single. It's just as magical as I remember the original being!

I purchased the "NeverEnding Story" song from iTunes on Monday. While I was there in iTunes... I decided to finally purchase the albums Violet and Looking Glass from the band. I am now complete in owning their albums (digitally).

That would be cool, but I imagine the band would have to have the assets of the old version of the song and Metropolis Records would have to be on board to produce it. It is a big jump in recording however, since the old version of the cover sounds like it could be from the Nothing and Nowhere era.

Beautiful!!! The original is amazing but this improves on it immeasurably! This made me squeal and giggle in delight, and cry a bit too. I can't stop listening to it - it's so nostalgic because the film was a big part of my childhood and it makes me think of that, but it also takes me back to when I first discovered you on the internet so many years ago. It's as dreamy as the original, and I love how Chibi's vocals are much more clearly audible than the original. The new guitar and synth is soooo good. I love you, you're the best band ever! <3

I've listened to the original, and the original cover done by you guys and I have to say, the rerecording is done really well, you've accomplished the goal to capture your original cover of this song. I say this is even better than the first time you guys recorded the cover, so huge improvement over that! Chibi's vocals really shine in this version too, while in the original cover I felt like her voice was a bit buried behind the instruments. If this track is available for purchase this Friday I will buy it! I can't wait to listen to this in my car coming home from work!

Are you guys going to share with us how you were able to pull this off? Years ago I inquired about the demo and was told by various band members that you just did it for fun and it could never be a 'real' song due to legal/copyright stuff. I'm glad you were able to somehow safely navigate that to bring back a favourite, an anthem of hope during a time where we could all use it!
