Monday Update: MARS! & also an INTERVIEW!

Hello! It's been a little while, but I've returned as promised! I've spent the last few weeks working on my next project– this is going to be a bit long-winded, but I'll try to keep it short, since there's a part near the end I need your help with:

So in 1998, a themed restaurant called Mars 2112 opened in NYC. I had the fortune of visiting it twice in my early childhood before it suddenly and devastatingly closed in 2012. Since then, Mars 2112 has haunted me much like the other places I covered in the Roadtrip video, but there's virtually nothing about it online. So I may or may not have started a Wiki,

It's still somewhat barebones and I'm not sure if I'm ready to open it up to public editing yet, but here is the official unoffical Mars 2112 Wiki if you're interested! It's the only existing repository of info on Mars 2112 as far as I know. This will eventually become the basis for my full essay script later on. If you're interested in helping out/contributing info to the wiki (I definitely need someone who knows CSS), reach out to me!

This has also been what's been consuming my life recently lol. In one of my now-many rabbit holes for this project, I found Steve Harper, one of the designers for the restaurant. He worked on this space ship statue outside the restaurant:

as well as the ZZUB-459 Ether-Runner Space-Time Modulator, a motion simulator ride that would shuttle guests to Mars:

I reached out to Steve to see if he'd be willing to share any more info about his time with Mars 2112, and he agreed to a video interview with me! This is where your help comes in:

I have around two weeks before I sit down with Steve, and I'll need questions to ask him. I'm sure I'll come up with plenty on my own, but I want your questions too! I invite you to check out the wiki, and then comment on here or in the patrons-only server anything you're curious about! I'll try to relay as many as I can. It'll be a huge help in my research!
