tuesday mini-update

happy tuesday! last time we talked, we were apparently moving and going and all that cool shit. unfortunately, video production has returned to something of a crawl. the fun news, though: i'm moving out! you might have seen me mention it on my social medias because i opened commissions to help cover moving costs. between the work i'll have to do on the art i owe, and the work i've been enjoying more than i probably should on my neocities site, writing has sorta fallen to the wayside. my moving date is early next month, though, so hopefully once i get settled down, i can churn out those comms and get back to working a little more consistently on scripts and such.

current wip progress:
meta horror video: i've hit the "honorable mentions" sorta section for the video, where i talk about games like undertale and oneshot that arent specifically horror, but are definitely meta. then i remembered i'd probably have to replay undertale and oneshot to keep writing and undertale is just long enough of a game that this put me off progressing for a while lmao. eventually we'll get there

cec video: i'd been just barely inching along the early parts of the script for ages, bc i was sorta struggling to figure out how to write the story of how cec came to be without just repeating what i said in the rae video. i've come up with a solution though that is certainly easier for me, and hopefully funny for you:

other videos?: i dont have anything else im currently actively working on, but i have a few video topics that have been on my mind a LOT lately for some reason. we never finished our watch through of hazbin hotel, but i got bored and put on episode 5 the other night and it completely re-sparked my agonizing morbid fascination with the show. im sure plenty of people have made their "hazbin hotel sucks" videos by now, which is why i didnt think i should do one myself at first, but the idea of recapping and analyzing every episode and slowly going insane through it honestly sounds like a fun video. i really want to start doing plain old reviews of movies and shows, too. maybe the hazbin video is something i'll write at my own pace in between other projects, and then it can be ready by the time season 2 comes around?

i've also been itching REALLY bad to write a video on wannado city, which was a kid city-style theme park that only ever existed in florida but managed to still be a staple of my childhood. im unsure if there's enough out there about wannado city to justify a whole video, though, and defunctland happened to tweet something implying he might cover it soon, so.... this idea might be dead in the water already lol. but i just can't get it out of my head. maybe it'll be a monthly? idk?

this turned out to be a pretty normal sized update huh. well, happy tuesday lol
