monday update: headway but like, on a different thing!

hi everyone! it's been a little bit of radio silence on this page so you have my apologies. i have spent a little time kinda doing nothing, kinda beating myself up for not working on videos, forgetting to do patreon stuff, starting therapy, etc etc lol . i'm hoping the struggle to work on stuff i can show off here will be over soon as i get my own mental shit in order, but also i refuse to make any promises in the hope that i jinx myself lmao

where do we stand on current videos?: the cec video is not shelved by any means, but since it's a larger project, i'll be working on it in tandem with a few smaller ideas, like my meta horror video as shown in the images here! i acquainted myself with eternal darkness: sanity's requiem over the weekend, which is the only game i plan to cover in this video that i hadn't already played. it was a real hurdle to get over but now that i finally know how to talk about it, i can finally get into the stuff i know i'm gonna like revisiting lol

the images attached are my plot synopsis for eternal darkness, let me know if the way i described it makes any sense to you guys! it's a great game with a great story, but it's also a crazy complex story that is hard to condense for the sake of time lol. so feedback on if this makes sense to someone who hasn't played the game is very helpful!

the next game on my list is imscared, which if you know anything about me and horror games, it's one of my favorite games ever, so im really excited to revisit it and finally have a space to get insane about that game and its story. hopefully i will return soon with more previews to share from the script!

as for monthlies: uhhhhhh i have just straight up forgotten abt monthlies for a while lmao. the work it takes to produce a whole video, even if lower effort than a big boy video i'd put on youtube, was something i kinda underestimated, and it takes up an amount of time that i feel sorta detracts from being able to work on the bigger stuff. i wanna have content for you guys here as thanks for subscribing, but i also don't wanna make content just for the sake of making content, because that's a quick way for it to stop being good. i'd like to replace it with some other monthly thing- maybe a patron exclusive livestream or a q+a or something? i could do a monthly art stream and take doodle requests or something idk lol. tell me what interests you!
