I feel exactly the same way as you. I am 100% Team JANG UK, but I still love the character of Seo Yul and find it difficult to watch him suffer in this show. He really is a good person and friend. To be honest, the constant hate and complaining of ALL the side characters from the Reactor is making these reactions unbearable for me. I haven't commented until now, because everyone has the right to React exactly as they want to. And it would be my choice to continue to watch & support them.🌷 Anyway, I hope my comment was gentle/respectful and I wish you all the best!🌷

The thing with the whole constellations aspect is that every mage that is born has a unique constellation, i guess it almost allows them to predict the fate of the new born child just based on the constellation. So with jang uk he was born on the night where the kings star was present in the sky meaning he was fated to become the king. Thats my perception of the whole constellation concept. The guy that you found suspicious in the show and said you dont trust is actually a loyal mage hes not a traitor so i wanted to clarify that. One last thing, the whole first ever leader of jinyowon being blind thing is more of a foreshadowing aspect of the plot. Buyeon is a decendant of the first leader of jinyowon since shes also part of the jin family, hence theres the similarity of her being blind as well as extremely powerful. I guess like you said its almost like history repeating itself.

I started watching this drama when you reacted to episode 8 and within 4 days I finished it. I am not the type who continues to watch a drama in its entirety unless it is exciting. Thank you for introducing me to a good drama, so I would like to introduce you to a good drama if you have not watched it yet. Its name is True Beauty you will die of laughter I assure you. I think I’m just too empathetic towards secondary characters. I tend to want to support them even though I love the main character. You can continue to hate Yul, I am in both camps - two boats at the same time 🙃
