Third update: Daily Equestria Life With Monster Girl

It’s very possible that some of you haven’t seen the recent blog, or been in the chat server. So I have to try and explain what’s been going on.

My best friend’s mother died.

I am writing this while sitting within an enclosed back porch in Florida: the same place I composed the 6300-word chapter which went up a few minutes ago. I came down in order to help with… everything. Offering presence, the benefit of my recent experience, and some labor.

But my desktop tower was left behind.

I have to work with the tablet. This means cleaning up a lot of formatting errors, because the tablet likes to play little typing tricks. It also means I had to mail my notes to myself, and concentrated on continuing stories. I can try to stay for as long as it’s necessary and/or helpful, and we’ll go back after the funeral regardless. But I had two pieces posted when this started, out of a possible five. In order to stay here and keep the rent paid (for an apartment I’m not currently using), I need to write. If I can’t do that, I would have to go back.

The bureaucracy is closed today. Yesterday was cleaning. Today, I found the time to reach three postings. But I may still have trouble reaching five, and sponsored blogs may be impossible this month. The funeral isn’t even scheduled yet, and the first meeting with the host is tomorrow.

I’ll do what I can, on all fronts. But for February, I have to ask for your patience. My time is not completely my own.

And the tablet keeps doing this.
