Are You Ready?

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve all been well. In December, when I shared some exclusive photos on here, a few of you noticed my KoRn tattoo. Knowing now that there are a few KoRn fans on my Patreon, I’d like to share some old photos with you guys!

I began listening to KoRn when I was in high school and became a self proclaimed super fan (haha) when I was about 20 years old. The moment that really stuck with me is when I saw them perform at Mayhem Fest in 2010. I originally attended that festival to see Rob Zombie, but KoRn quickly went from being just a band that I enjoyed, to becoming my very favorite band of all time once I saw them perform.

Some of you may be wondering why I got the tattoo to begin with and I'm more than happy to explain what it means to me, aside from the fact that Jonathan Davis is my favorite artist. Since seeing KoRn at Mayhem in 2010, I had been wanting a tattoo. Unfortunately, that desire didn't become a reality until I was 27. Shortly after turning 21 years old, I went down a dark path that I didn't break away from until I was 26. Once I had the strength to change my life for the better, I got the tattoo.

What was originally supposed to be a fan tattoo developed into having a much deeper meaning over time. Getting the tattoo after all of those years that I felt I had wasted was my way of making up for some of the time that I had lost. Though we can't go back in time and change the past, if we're fortunate enough, we can make it up to ourselves, and so I did. I changed my life, started over, traveled, pursued modeling again, and got the tattoo.

A moment I'll never forget is being backstage in 2016, shortly after getting the tattoo, when Fieldy came up to me and said they had all seen me earlier before the show, walking to the side of the stage, and noticed my tattoo. Head, in disbelief, asked if I really had the tattoo, while Fieldy asked if I regretted it. While laughing, and before I could even respond, Munky walked by and lifted the back of his shirt which revealed a KoRn tattoo on his lower back. Before that moment, I was completely unaware of the fact that anyone other than Jonathan had the infamous KoRn tramp stamp. After a brief interaction, we parted ways. Anytime I've had an opportunity to interact with them, they have each been nothing but humble and kind.

One of my greatest memories was meeting Jonathan for the first time in 2016. I was completely starstruck with nothing to say except "Hi", yet he was so kind to me. While meeting him again in 2018, he said, "Hey girl, it's good to see you!" Was I any less nervous the second time around? No haha! However, I'm grateful for the unforgettable memories I've had throughout the years and am happy to share some of them with you!

I have uploaded some photos from shows I have attended throughout the years, including some of the times I have had the opportunity to meet them! I've also added some older photos from a shoot I did inspired by them in 2018. I hope you guys enjoy these pictures I've shared. It was crazy to look back on some of these memories!

Much love!
Angelica

Yes, same! Had plans of seeing them in 2021 but couldn't because of COVID. Was going to see them last year, but instead completed my Bette Machete shoot the day I was supposed to go! Hopefully this year we can both get a chance to see them again. Do you have any old pictures to share?

Music helps us get through rough times. The true strength lies within us already and music reminds us of that when it's so easy to forget 🖤

🤣Hahaha! That's amazing! Thank you for sharing this story with me. I can't wait to see them again

Got to see them live a few times, but my fav Korn moment was when they were playing Rock Allegiance in Chester PA. The venue was a open roof soccer stadium directly beside my work but I was unable to go as I was sick. BUT Korn was playing SO LOUD that I could sit out on my deck and hear the whole show as if someone had just cranked the CD up inside their car with the windows up. Meanwhile they were really miles away. Was so cool. Lots of noise complaints to the local offices that day from others though. The concert was relocated the next year.

Thank you for sharing 🖤 I’m so happy that you were finally able to get the tattoo 🖤It’s crazy the effect music can have someone, I definitely can empathize with your story when looking at my own life. KoRn is still on my list of bands I’d like to see live one day.
