Heading for the USA

TL;DR: The story schedule will be paused for the first week of August and all of September. Patreon payments will also be paused for September and you will not be charged for that period.

Also, I'll be at Dragon Con this year.

I've mentioned this in various places, but this is the official announcement that I will be in the United States for the entirety of September. I'll be popping up at Dragon Con, but mostly it's a vacation with my friends. If anyone wants to say g'day at Dragon Con, I'll be there on the Saturday on some kind of panel and probably signing some books.

Because I won't be writing at all, I won't be releasing either, and there will be no charges for the month. I look forward to all your messages about Patreon's payment system going wonky - I'll do my best to help.

Once I'm back in October, you can look forward to me messing up the releases as my assistant will still be on holiday for another two weeks. I haven't had to do the chapter posting myself for a long time now and I've forgotten most of how it works. Sorry in advance for getting it wrong.

Finally, I'm taking a week to go see my mum. She moved to the other side of the country last year and it's a big country. The only time I saw her in person this year was when my uncle died, which wasn't exactly us having a fun time together. I want to see her before I head out of the country, so I'm giving myself a week for that at the start of August.

I was hoping to not have to pause the schedule that week and get by on buffer chapters, but finishing book ten kind of kicked me in the [bleep] and now I'm in the process of cleaning it up for publication. There's a chance I'll have enough buffers to not pause for that week, but it's more likely than not at this stage there will be a break. If that changes, I'll let you know.
