New Comic + Bonus pages

I like this work better with the bonus ending, it gives a bit more depth to the inner struggle of the turtle that just passed. But decide for yourself :)

I am a "nest sitter" on a small island on the Eastern coast of North Carolina. I, and the other sitters, put considerable effort into protecting nesting sites. We observe and "net" turtle nests during laying season. Basically we very carefully lay wire netting around the nest (against burrowing predators) and stake off the the entire area (10 foot radius) to prevent people walking or riding bikes too closely. We monitor the nest sites until day 50, at which point we begin a nightly watch. Everyday (after day 50) we brush a "runway" from the nest to water to ease their dangerous trek. The most important thing we do, however, is education of the public. Bright lights often lead baby turtles astray, as they are guided by moonlight.
