The week was really busy in real life, but I managed to read several times and check the corrections made by my beta. As a result, the betaed chapter 109 of The odds were never in my favour will be published in a few hours.

2023-08-23 00:00:14 +0000 UTCNow Alex is getting the sleep of the truly just and exhausted. Killing living avatars and demigods is rewarding but tiring work indeed. I do wonder how Albus is going to justify himself next. For better or worse everybody knows Alex was the one to give the final blow to Ra himself. He can't really expect to be able of matching her now, can he? If he had a lick of sense he would be running and prepping, but he is Dumbledore so... Now I do wonder if Alex is going to return for another year at Hogwarts. She is literally wasted there now, though I assume she is still going to fix the issue with her pet Elder Dragon. And I am most curious what is going to happen to the rest of the powers and their champions. Chaos and Death are going to remain Dark of course but I don't think Elleonora is going to remain a light champion. The Light is gone if I am assuming correctly. Meanwhile the rest of the powers are probably going to get some new blood going.
