So let me get this straight, ALL of the Sautekh Dynasty worlds are being attacked right now, or are about to be? The wiki says that there are eighty of them, including Mandragora.

It might happen yes...and sooner than you think (grin). What can I say safely...similar and yet different. The Dragon Armours are new and are functioning with similar technology but with Dragon having conceived them, the doctrine and the intentions behind them were far different.

With regards to saint Galantine, was she able to join the fight because Taylor recovered her sword? Does this mean that big E can summon his saints so long as he has their artifact to channel through? What would Taylor’s artifact be? This does somewhat explain why there will be multiple ages of Weaver if the saints can be brought back through their artifact conduits. Just speculating…🤔

Well, I have to disagree about the lucidity of Zahndrekh. Recall that he was apparently able to speak of 'successionists bargaining for psychic power' without being aware the Necron(s/tyr) never had it in life, or in metal. More rationalization the way of the Orks, I think.

Considering the Sautekh awoke in M41 in canon, it's always possible the fatal event occurred in one of the millennia between now and then.

Goodbye, a huge chunk of eastern fringe nice knowing you. At least we know the dwarfs are going to be joining this fight now. All these Orks must come from somewhere and the nearest spot on the map is the core where the dwarfs live. So as they say grudges must be settled.

According to one wiki "The Sautekh crownworld's ruling phaeron had been one of the few to perish during hibernation" - is this overturned in this story/timeline?

So... let me get it straight... every one just packed and left Volga? No decisive battles were fought there (just 10 years of slaughter, then humans came in and then everyone came out)... That's is kinda let down )) Just how much of battleships did Word Bearers come with? In the interlude there were 108 mentioned I think, but in the end of the chapter they still have 108, or they have lost several. And at least one (with ritual) was truly theirs. By the way is it a bit of trade off? One Bloodthirster, no matter how powerful, is hardly worth 8 capital ships. Or their destruction wasn't intended? More we goes in, and more I'm convinced Zahndrekh won't survive... he is nice one, but I doubt he will tolerate what looks more and more as destruction of his whole Dynasty. He also mentionned C'Tan, which seems to indicate he is much more lucide that he let on. And finally - place of the true showdown will be Mandragora... Wonder, how awakening will go... and will their Nobles realise, that hour is grave or decode to kill each other for the throne? Thanks once again for your work!

Yes, that's the question isn't it? Of course Dragon is hardly a 'normal' AI in that she has a soul, due to her trigger. As for cheating, well, the Chaos Gods can be outmaneouvered, and this time the Emperor got one over them...

There were thousands of supply ships destroyed, but most were filled with fuel, perishables, food, or machine parts to repair the warships. Most of the Traitor Guard transports weren't in the part of the supply fleet that Arkos rendered vulnerable, sorry if it wasn't clear enough.

I suspect the Silent King's minions are going to be regarding Taylor in a manner similar to how the Eldar see her, an unnatural disaster to be admired at a distance measured in AU. The C'Tan's shard giving a hint as to what triggered the Artificial Intelligences of humanity to go sideways is an interesting tidbit. Granted, I'm not sure there's much to counter the Flayer's Curse, but still... I'm finding all the hints of how the Three aren't finding current events very fun HIGHLY amusing. The Bloodthirster getting it's ass handed to it was definitely uplifting, and hopefully when that Saint is truly born I hope she gives many more Daemons ass-reamings from Hell. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when all the various factions meet up. You can bet there's going to be ALOT of Candid Camera moments to be had; the thought of Lorgar's face when it's all done playing out will be BEYOND merely 'amusing'!

Given that the legitimate commanders of the Sautekh are awakening, it's more likely that their Phaeron will execute Zandrekh using command protocols for his 'insanity' - assuming he himself is not totally bonkers. Imotekh will meet the Orks again, I'm betting on that bit of irony... ;)

What a fun new chapter! I think that's a brief sabbat cameo as she's the living saint associated with green and gold- what fun showing how the emperor is able to intervene more freely! This also really showed that in terms of power as a saint, Taylor is nowhere near on the levels of the more powerful living saints of 40k- her parahuman power more than makes up the difference, of course, but it is very interesting to see a path that her growth might take! Bloodthirsters getting bullied by the Imperium is very funny and also mildly hints that Khorne is hedging his bets and not empowering any of his champions in the black crusade all that much- perhaps he's angling more to get some assets out to Lotarra in order to help her in her fight against Malicia? Also remembering that Taylor's main aspect is 'Sacrifice' and that she has a whole bunch of Army Groups has made me very worried- I feel as though we're going to be getting some huge casualties and tough decisions not very far down the line, now that Zandrekh seems as though he'll be listened to far more. Overall a wonderful huge monster of a chapter that really sets off the huge scale of the conflict ahead (and the Vandire hints are as delicious as ever!)

Anyone know who that saint is off the top of their heads? Also good chapter this update fixed my problems with the previous unfinished version of this chapter decently. That and the sheer amount of butt hurt from Angrath when the Saint showed up was hilarious.
