Smilodon Trench Sub-Sector 296M35

There have been a few changes to the worlds of this Sub-Sector, at least where their administrative status is concerned. The situation on the ground may be a bit different on the ground until Her Celestial Highness can properly rectify these problems.

And beware something big (40 000 words) is coming...

For the moment they belong to her, but the understanding is that the moment there is a colonisation project or any enterprise attracting people there (asteroid mining, navy base, etc...) she must name a Planteray Governo who is not herself.

Thanks for the new map. Are the four frontier worlds Taylor's personal property? She was owed four worlds as part of the bounties and I can see her wanting empty ones. After the Battle of the Death Star she would have preferred a new colony to Nyx and I'm sure Vandire would support giving her empty worlds which would let her save her political capital for other things. Its not like she is short of money to develop them and making them a demonstration of her ideals could be beneficial long term.

I will explain the meaning in a later chapter. It's not really the scenario you have in mind...

Rule of cool aside, I'm wondering if there's any particular meaning behind Smilodon Trench designation. Sabertooth + carved scar, maybe? Pretty interesting name to choose for a whole sector. If used deliberately, I'd expect to see a line of planets devastated by some ancient necron wars or eaten bare by tyranids/hrud or something. Or it could possibly mean "a narrow point that dangerous animals are coralled into", to be gloriously slaughtered by Imperium obviously.

SpaceCat

The presence of so many Space Marines chapters loyal to Taylor is probably going to be a pretty potent motivator for planetary governors not to stray

Smilodon is going to be under Weaver's thumb now that the black templars are recruiting from the world now.

Forgottenone

No, the systems are not newly discovered. They are border-marcher systems, contested between the Nyx and Atlantis Sectors, but due to old wars having ruined the environment, there are no sizeable human populations on them.

We always wellcome something big! So wellcome 40000 words, we happy to see you! So we have new Naval base to keep company to Black Templars, Andes is going to become Civilisised world (not an Aquatic one) and finally Sub-Sector gained two new systems! Are they newly discovered, or were they just mentioned previously?
