Basilisk Gate. Standing tall against Baldur's Gate's eastern wall, Basilisk Gate provides passageway to the Outer City and the road beyond...at least normally, until the Flaming Fist shut the gate to stop the flow of refugees in and Baldurian's out of the city.
Map Notes. A map like this was a lot of fun to do (I mean...I got to load up Baldur's Gate 3 for a while and wander around taking screenshots to get started...) I wanted to use the BG3 layout as it offers a nice side building in which to meet with Zodge away from the commotion at the gates, while still trying to honour the city map of Baldur's Gate from the adventure book. The map has 2 levels, the ground and roofs levels.
Files. The zip files below are organized in 4 folders: Roll20Free for smaller 70px images; Roll20Paid for larger 140px images; FoundryVTT for 100px dd2vtt files compatible with multiple VTTs; and Printable which are 140px gridded images in color and black and white.
This is my interpretation of the area, loosely based on various sources and imagery.
