Level 23-2 - Dungeon of the Mad Mage (All Tiers)

The Dungeon + Halaster's Tower.  The lowest level of the Undermountain and home to the Mad Mage, Halaster Blackcloak. Two apprentices also reside here: Arcturia the lich and Trobriand the Metal Mage. Once through the Dungeon portion, the path leads onwards to Halaster's Tower - a 3 story tower contained in a demi-plane.

This is the second release for Level 23 and includes Map C and T (Level 1), which finishes off the dungeon section and starts with the first level of the tower.

Map Notes. More fun with animated assets for this map. For Map C - the final piece of the dungeon there are 2 variants, a normal one that has assets embedded in the image and a "_ForTokens" version that will let you drop animated tokens into the image instead.

These tokens include:

A twisting an undulating hallway - this one is self-explanatory

A scintillating pillar with pulsing, shifting rainbow light, which includes:

A glass floor - for over a pit of acid, which includes:

The Tower Map itself is fairly straightforward. The layers will get built up as we go, so the base doesn't have too much going on.

Files.  The zip files below are organized in 5 folders: Roll20Free for smaller 70px images; Roll20Paid for larger 140px images; FoundryVTT for 100px dd2vtt files compatible with multiple VTTs; Printable which are 140px gridded images in color and black and white; and the animated tokens (.webm files) in a separate folder.

It has been a pleasure to watch you work, seeing you making use of lessons learned, and watching your style and technique develop as you go. Well done, and thank you for this excellent resource!

Just want to say that you've done consistently amazing work on this huge dungeon!! Virtually nowhere else can I find even a few of these maps, much less a whole set with a quality visual look. Really impressive and much appreciated.
