Level 11-1 - Dungeon of the Mad Mage (All Tiers)

Troglodytes, trolls, and drow (oh my!).  Level 11 of the Undermountain: Troglodyte Warrens.  This release includes Maps A and B (north section), laid out as follows.  The actual entrance and exit to the level will be on Maps C and D. 

This map was both simple and complicated at the same time.  The complex cave system was not playing nicely with Dungeondraft (v1.0.4) so I had to downgrade (to v1.0.3) to actually get this to export the caves without chopping the map up even more.  

Map Notes. The map is fairly empty actually - lots of monsters, not a lot of stuff.  What I saved in mapping time I lost in troubleshooting dungeondraft.  There are a LOT of extra light assets to be deleted - wanted some interesting colours and to match the key art so there are lots in there.

On Map B areas 8a and 8b - there is an included extra token for each area to overlay the illusion on the map (and then hide/delete if your players dispel it.

Files. I have included both Background "_BG_" and Transparent "_TP_" versions of each of the maps (A and B); background means it has a flat grey image behind the dungeon, transparent means there is nothing there. For the Roll20 versions, this means the background version is a jpg while the transparent version is a png (jpgs don't support transparency); Foundry are both dd2vtt files. If you want to puzzle piece the sections together like above (NOT RECOMMENDED), you have the transparent versions available for that. However, if you set up each map to an individual scene, you could use either, but the _BG_ jpgs will meet the file size limits for Roll20 (TP pngs may not!).

The zip files below have the Level 11 Maps A and B, as well as a GM overlay for each map. The tokens for the arches are included in each zip folder. Roll20Free is a .jpg < 5MB, Roll20Paid is a .jpg < 10MB, while Foundry formats are dd2vtt files. Roll20 maps are at 70 and 140 px per grid cell respectively and the Foundry files are 100px (this also holds true for the transparent images).
